My wife and I bought this Dell Inspiron Mini a couple of months.

Battery and Heat
One thing I am always conscious when it comes to buying laptops is the life of the battery. So far it meets my expectations. Three hours in battery mode is not bad. But what I dislike is that the laptop heats up quickly. What can I do, all phones are like that LOL.
Keyboard and touchpad
We all expect that the keyboard is quite "compact" and yes it is but compared to other mini-laptops, it is durable and you feel more comfortable to type on it than the mini-notebook the other. After a few keystrokes my fingers are already accustomed to it. For touchpad, I have no problem with him.
Build and Design
The design is quite similar to other mini-computers phones we saw. The exterior is covered with shiny plastic with soft lines, rounded edges and a style that looks like it tries to find a balance between "fun" and "functional". The look is pretty basic, almost like a miniature version of the laptop Inspiron 1525. Glossy plastic is located on the top of the screen cover as well as around the entire screen and palm rest. Matte black plastic is used on the basis of the netbook and on the keyboard. Overall, the look is very nice, but the cover gloss LCD is a magnet for fingerprints and makes the new netbook look a little tarnished after only a few minutes of use.
The display
You'll really love the display of this mini notebook. The display LED-backlit glossy is nice and vibrant with rich colors and good contrast. But there is always a problem with it when you are outdoors. But who cares? Yet the best of them Horizontal viewing angles are good, if a friend and you'll have no trouble watch a movie on the 8.9-inch screen at the same time. Vertical viewing angles are acceptable.
Conclusion
Among all other mini-notebooks, Dell Mini is my first choice so far. From its sleek design down to its performance and scalability, you can never deceive you. But as we all know, large and small computers is changing very rapidly. A computer today is already considered obsolete in a few months. What do you think is the best today is considered a junk tomorrow. I wonder when it stops cycle?
