My bios on my Dell 8400 is really screwed up. APPER random characters all over my screen until Windows is up
I recently installed a Zalman 7700 Cu fan in my computer. The 3-pin molex power was not fighting with my motherboard. While I was Waiting to get a converter i started my computer and I started playing Counter Strike. The computer was running fine for about 10-15 minutes before it began to show inexplicable forms and images in the game. Immedaly I shut the computer into thinking that something I chips. Days later I ran to COMP USA and got the converter for ventilation. The fan has ended up working a lot, but when I went to start the computer, he was still acting strange. I reformatted the hard drive and reinstalled Windows. While the BIOS is still acting very strange the computer works fine (Im currently using it). I started to reinstall the drivers for my computer, a video card has been last. I restarted the computer and Windows does not work at all. I restarted in safe mode and removed the driver. Everything advice would be helpful. Thank you!
obtain an updated driver for your video card. Is it a separate video card or onboard graphics? Check BIOS and see if the integrated graphics is disabled so you can use a separate video card
